| Cargo Express was founded by two brothers, Joe and Bob Pfender. For many years, Joe served as an executive for a large carrier while Bob worked on the brokerage side. In 1996, they joined forces and launched the company with the main goal of providing ocean and ground transportation services to small and medium-sized companies.
Due to their collective industry experience, the company quickly flourished and earned the respect of shippers and businesses worldwide.
As a transportation logistic solutions provider that specializes in the export and import business, Cargo Express contracts with over 15 different shipping lines and operates in 21 different countries on six continents: Asia, Europe, South America, Australia, Africa and North America. Back in the states, its personalized services also extend to areas like Philadelphia, Baltimore, Detroit, Seattle and Dallas where large carriers no longer have a major presence.
