Skills/Experience: In 1996, Joe and his brother Bob founded Cargo Express in Yardley, Penn. Joe, who had 15 years of experience in international transportation, left his sales management position at Hong Kong-based Orient Overseas Container Line to build a company that responded to the growing demand for real time customer service in an industry downsized by deregulation.Initially, the company concentrated its efforts on the Trans-Pacific with specific emphasis on trade with China. Cargo Express has since expanded its reach to over 20 countries and now supports seven US offices. Joe's main responsibilities include strategic planning and development of the company's operations and technical infrastructure. In addition, he serves on the executive board of the World Trade Association of Philadelphia and the advisory council of Temple University's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER). Joe is also a member of the Bucks County International Trade Council in Philadelphia.
